The original lineup of the band consisted of Ozzy Osbourne on vocals, Tony Iommi on guitar, Geezer Butler on bass, and Bill Ward on drums. Their early music was heavily influenced by blues rock and featured dark, heavy riffs, and haunting lyrics that explored themes of death, war, and the occult.
